Mr. Robert Earle Gandy of Starkville, 62, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012 in Tupelo.
Funeral services will be held 11a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at Sixteen Section M.B. Church in Starkville with Rev. J.W. Richardson officiating.
Burial will follow at New Prairie Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held noon to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at Century-Hairston Funeral Home.
Century-Hairston Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Joe Ann Gandy of Starkville; daughter, Kyshia Boyd of Starkville; sons, Marlon Gandy of Marietta, Ga., Marco Smith of Hattiesburg, Robert Gandy Jr. of Starkville and Derrick Gandy of Starkville; brothers, Joseph B. Gandy (Teresa) of Howell, N.J., Young "Sonny" Hall (Zola) of Chicago, Ill., and Thomas E. Gandy (Simmie) of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; sisters, Carolyn O. Neely of Okolona, Dora V. Bridges of Hines, Ill., and Wanda E. Gandy of Starkville; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
