Mrs. Louise Phillips Gray Faust of Columbus, 83, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012 at Fairview Baptist Church in Columbus with Rev. Mickey Dalrymple and Rev. Sammy Crawford officiating.
Graveside services will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Starkville.
Visitation will be held 1-2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012 at the church prior to service.

Mrs. Faust was born June 17, 1929 in Starkville to the late William Porter and Annie Ada Hollingsworth Phillips. She was born into a loving and caring family who always remained close, sharing many happy and wonderful times. Mrs. Faust loved the Lord and was an active member of Fairview Baptist Church in Columbus. She was a member of the WMU Missionary Union, choir, and was instrumental in organizing the senior citizens activities at Calvary Baptist Church in Starkville. Mrs. Faust also taught a Sunday School Class in each church she attended.
Mrs. Faust was active in civic organizations where she was a member of the Eastern Star No. 73 in Starkville, leader of a Brownie Scout Troop of Starkville, Rebecca Lodge of Starkville and Starkville Civic League. She served on the Oktibbeha County Library Board and served as an Alderwoman for town of Sturgis during the few years she resided in Sturgis. During the 1970â€™s, Mrs. Faust was the ownerÂ of Country Thyme Gifts and Antiques in Starkville as well as other antiques businesses throughout the years. She was a member of several bridge clubs and taught bridge lessons.
Mrs. Faust was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Faust is survived by her husband,Â Jim Faust of Columbus; daughter, Sheila Gray (Glen) Flurry of Starkville; grandson, William â€śBillâ€ť (Kameron) Ball of Madison; granddaughter, Shelley Flurry (Dave) Hollan of Augusta, Ga.; great grandchildren, Conner Beth Ball, William Ball, Mary Phillips Hollan, John Hollan, Gray Hollan and James Hollan; step-daughters, Angie(Mike) Staten of New Albany and Patti (Barney) Daly of Madison; step-grandchildren, Matt (Ellen) Staten, Luke Staten, Morgan Daly and Hannah Daly; brothers, Lee Roy (Pat) Philllips of Starkville and Dell Ratcliff Heck of Fayetteville, Ark.; and sisters, Pauline Delivorias Hudson of San Destin, Fla. and Betty (Robert) Harbor of McClain, Va.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by husband, John Franklin Gray; infant daughter, Annie Denise Gray; brothers, William Porter Phillips, Walter Ellis (Skeeter) Phillips and James Porter Phillips; nephew, Glen Phillips; and niece, Jennifer Rafcliff.
Pallbearers are Bill Phillips, Lee Phillips, Steve Phillips, Bubba Gray, Billy Gray and Phillip Delivorias.
Honorary Pallbearers are Baptist Hospice, nurses of the West Wing at
Trinity Healthcare, Dr. Susan Taylor and Dr. Michael Duckworth.
After the graveside service family and friends are invited to the home of Sheila and Glen Flurry at 100 Heritage Place in Starkville.
