Mrs. Willa Jean Richardson Prisock, 81, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 in the Medical Center of Plano in Plano, Texas.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 at Beth Eden Lutheran Church in Louisville with Rev. Junior Davis officiating.
Burial will follow in Beth Eden Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012 at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, and from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 at the church.
Nowell-Massey Funeral Home of Louisville is in charge of arrangements.
Born on June 19, 1931, Mrs. Prisock was the daughter of Ronald Earl and Laura Mae Richardson. Mrs. Prisock was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Johnâ€™s Lutheran Church, the Eastern Star and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. Jean was raised in Beth Eden and Louisville where she was actively involved in activities at St. Johnâ€™s Lutheran Church.
She attended Blue Mountain College and traveled extensively with her husband, Frank, who served in the United States Navy.
She is survived by her sons, John Ronald Prisock (Patsy) of Sturgis, Richard Dell Prisock (Debbie) of St. Eustatia, Netherlands, Caribbean Islands and Robert Darryl Prisock of Bakersville, Calif.; daughter, Lori Jean Prisock Shaw of Plano, Texas; six granddaughters, four grandsons, four nephews and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Prisock was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Dell Prisock; her parents; and two brothers, Howard Earl Richardson, who was killed while serving in World War II, and Robert â€śBobbyâ€ť Joseph Richardson of Birmingham, Ala.
Pallbearers will be Robert Alan Richardson, Chris Richardson, Andy Richardson, Dylan Prisock, Jonathan Ratliff and Brad Scarborough.
