SHS teams sweep Neshoba Central

It was a good night for the Starkville High School soccer teams.

Both Yellowjacket squads recorded 4-0 victories over division foe Neshoba Central on Friday night.

The Jackets were led by Juan Salazar's two goals. Taylor Wise and Justin Gordon each had a goal a piece. Ben Mackin had two assists.

The Jackets are now 9-1-1 for the season and 1-0 in the division.
The Lady Jackets got goals from Hannah Laird, Haley Jenkins, Carolina Berryhill and Cailee Helen McClain.

Both teams host Louisville on Monday. The girls are scheduled for 5 p.m. with the boys to follow at 7 p.m.
