MATHISTON â€“ The East Webster girls baskeball team beat Houlka Thursday night in impressive fashion.
Wolverine sophomore Quantesha Patterson put on a shooting display in the first half with 29 points, giving East Webster a lead of 38-8 at half.
â€śA lot of the times teams will double and triple team her, but she still goes up and gets the ball and scores,â€ť East Webster coach Mandy Jewell said.
Jewell called off the Wolverines during the second half, as the team cruised into a 58-30 victory.
Patterson finished her night with 35 points.
â€śOur team is very unselfish,â€ť Jewell said. â€śThey try to get Patterson the ball for the better of the team.â€ťView more articles in:
