The Oktibbeha County Humane Society and The Little Dooey are collaborating to offer a holiday raffle to benefit OCHS shelter animals.

Tickets are $1 each.

“Any of the proceeds that are raised through the raffle will go to our shelter animals completely just for the basic supplies,” OCHS General Manager Christy Wells said.

Raffle prizes are four smoked hams and four smoked turkeys.

The smoked hams are an average of six pounds and the smoked turkeys are an average of 18-20 pounds.

One ticket is a chance to win either a smoked ham or turkey.

Tickets can be purchased at The Little Dooey, OCHS, Book Mart & Cafe, and The Dawg House Playground and Salon in Starkville.

Tickets will be sold until Dec. 18.

Raffle winners will be drawn at The Little Dooey on Dec. 18 at noon.

However, OCHS is currently accepting donations at the shelter also.

The following items are needed:

For dogs:
• Diamond Maintenance Adult Dog & Puppy food
• Treats
• Kongs
• Toys
• Towels

For cats:
