Mr. Johnny Irvin Chesser, 66, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 at his residence in Starkville.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 at New Hope Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville.
Welch Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his daughters, Randi Stephenson of Brandon, Margaret Dennon of Cincinnati, Ohio, Michelle Kaufhold of Cincinnati, Ohio and Dawn Johnson of Ocean Springs; sister, Becki Eaton of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and brothers, Kelly Parrish of Sarasota, Fla. and Gary Chesser of Starkville; and seven grandchildren.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, G.D. Chesser and Mattie Sue Kelly Chesser; and brothers, George Chesser and Archie Chesser.
