The Oktibbeha County School District will hold its regular monthly meeting at noon Thursday in the district’s offices in downtown Starkville, but no agenda for the meeting was available Wednesday.
Thursday’s meeting will be former Greenwood Public School District superintendent Margie Pulley’s first regular monthly meeting as OCSD conservator. Her secretary, Robin Barnes, said at the end of OCSD office hours Wednesday that Pulley had not yet completed the agenda, but it would be ready before the meeting itself.
Pulley held a meeting with OCSD staff Monday to discuss expectations for staff before classes began on Tuesday. The OCSD typically holds its regular meetings on the first Monday of each month, but when outgoing conservator Jayne Sargent introduced Pulley in December, she said Pulley would defer the monthly meeting to Thursday, giving her time to adjust to her new position.
