Jacqueline Nicole Myers of Bloomington, Ill., formerly of Starkville, and Timothy James Croxdale of Bloomington, Ill., formerly of Memphis, Tenn., were united in marriage at three oâ€™ clock in the afternoon on Nov. 2, 2012 at the Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort in Morelos, Mexico.
Jacqueline is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Gary L. Myers of Hiawassee, Ga., formerly of Starkville. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Miller of Lincoln, Neb. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Keith Myers of Lincoln, Neb.
She is a 1999 graduate of Starkville High School and attended the University of Nebraska where she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority and Panhellenic junior member, and graduated from Mississippi State University in 2006 where she received the alumni scholarship.
She is currently employed as an activation manager for Downstate Illinois with The Hive, USA.
Timothy is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Croxdale of Memphis, Tenn. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mr. Mario Caruso of Memphis, Tenn. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Croxdale of Memphis, Tenn.
He is a 2000 graduate of Christian Brothers High School and attended Mississippi State University. He is currently employed as a user interface designer for Tek Systems as well as bar manager for Drifters in Bloomington, Ill.
The bride wore a chiffon strapless cocktail dress with a sweetheart neckline. She wore her maternal great-grandmotherâ€™s tanzanite and pearl ring, and carried the groomâ€™s great-grandmotherâ€™s lace handkerchief in her bouquet of white and purple roses with greenery.
Bridesmaids included Cami Novak of Las Vegas, Nev., Kristen Anderson of Columbia, Mo. and Emily Boresi of Bloomington, Ill.
The groom and groomsmen wore sand-colored suits with wedding-color coordinating ties. Groomsmen included Sean Croxdale of Orlando, Fla., Christopher Croxdale of Canton, Ga. and Jesse Brenwall of Bloomington, Ill.
A sand ceremony was performed illustrating the uniting of the bride and groomâ€™s families.
Following the wedding, the couple spent their honeymoon at the Secrets Maroma Beach Resort in Mexico snorkeling, swimming with dolphins and manatees, zip-lining through the forest, ATV riding and relaxing on the beach.
The couple will make their new home in Bloomington, Ill.
