Starkville drops pair to Columbus

On Tuesday night, The Starkville High Yellowjackets were defeated by Columbus Falcons in overtime 70-62.

With the Jackets leading heading into the final moments, Jalen Stewart hit a last second shot to tie the game at 58 as time expired. Columbus would then take control of the extra period to come away with the win.

Caleb Wilson lead Starkville in scoring with 15 points.

The Starkville Lady Jackets would get 33 points from Blair Schaefer.

Lady Jackets would fall 90-65 to the Lady Falcons who were led by Kiandria Patterson 38 points.
