Mr. Marcus Lawrence Anderson, 65, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 in the Welch Funeral Home chapel with Rev. John Tolliver officiating.
Visitation will be held 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 at the funeral home prior to services.

Welch Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.
He was a member of Community Baptist Church and a retired accountant for Starkville Electric where he worked for 28 years.

Marcus is survived by his sister, Donna Dodson of Starkville; niece, Jamie D. Hunt of Starkville; nephew, Will Dodson of Richlands, N.C.; great-niece, Aubree Dodson; and great-nephew, Cameron Dodson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe Anderson and Daisy Edna Crane Anderson. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Celebrate Recovery, c/o Fellowship Baptist Church, 545 Frye Rd., Starkville, MS 39759.
