Eva Daniel

Mrs. Eva Mae Carmichael Daniel, 87, of Starkville, died at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, on Friday, March 8, 2013.

Visitation will be held  1-2 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at New Hope Baptist Church with the service immediately following at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. 

Daniel was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and a homemaker.  She loved her family and enjoyed baking cookies with her grandchildren. 

Eva is survived by her daughters, Linda Hartness Robertson of Starkville; Kay Hartness Cummings (Stan) of Little Rock, Ark.; Betty Hartness Andol of Starkville; son, George Hartness (Pattie) of Starkville; daughters, Denise Taylor, and Teresa Dreason, sons, Darryl Daniel, and Keith Daniel, 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild, sisters, Joanne Helton of Baldwyn; and Ellen Cooper of Starkville.

She was preceded in death by her husband John R. Daniel and her parents Carl Alvin Carmichael and Annie Cora Good Carmichael.
