Through three innings on Sunday, it appeared the Mississippi State Bulldogs would prevent a sweep in their final home Southeastern Conference softball series of the season.
The Bulldogs had gained a 3-2 lead and pitcher Stephanie Becker had pitched two shutout innings against the South Carolina Gamecocks.
MSU were not able to expand the lead, while South Carolina managed to tie the game and ultimately win a 5-4 decision on senior day.
