Millsaps plant sale grows students' professionalism

Flowers may bloom and quickly fade, but Millsaps Career and Technology Center Greenhouse's annual plant sale is a year-long project.

Horticulture teacher Rusty Coats said second-year horticulture students began the project in early fall, determining which plants to grow. Some plants grow faster than others, he said, so they had to schedule planting in a way that ensured the plants were all ready in time for the sale.
