Starkville head coach Brian Jones wanted his team to play loose and like there was no pressure.
Although the Yellowjackets held a 1-0 lead over the Oxford Chargers in a Mississippi High School Athletic Association Class 5A playoff series, they didn't play like a team with a lead.
Starkville fell 9-1 to Oxford Thursday night at Yellowjacket Stadium/Carlisle Field to even up the playoff series at 1-1.
