The last two weekends have been a roller coaster ride for the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
The No. 24 (Collegiate Baseball) Bulldogs (36-13, 13-11) suffered a sweep to the hands of the Vanderbilt Commodores two weekends ago. They turned around and did a little sweeping themselves and took all three from Alabama last weekend.
”It’s what our club needed," MSU head coach John Cohen said. "We feel like every goal that we had coming into the season is still out in front of us. Our kids are acutely aware of where we are and what we need to do in order to put ourselves in postseason position to achieve goals.”
The Bulldogs are looking ride that momentum as they travel to Oxford today to take on in-state rival No. 27 Ole Miss (33-16, 12-12) in a three-game Southeastern Conference series.
