MSU's Bogaerts makes an impact as freshman

Romain Bogaerts expected to make an immediate impact with the Mississippi State men's tennis team.
Even he has been surprised a bit with the level of success enjoyed with the Bulldogs as a freshman.
Bogaerts was recognized as Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Year and with it was chosen a member of the All-SEC first team. He has achieved a No. 10 ranking in singles, and is the No. 6 national seed in singles, which is the highest a State player has gotten in singles since Marco Baron was the nation's top seed in 2001.
