Mr. Thomas Glen Oswalt, 73, of Starkville, MS; passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013 at his residence. 
 
Thomas was an Entomology Technician with USDA for 38 years, served for 35 years in the Army National Guard and a member of Adaton Baptist Church. 

He is survived by wife of 51 years, Rita Joyce Oswalt of Starkville, MS; daughter, Angela Kay Ratcliff (Kenneth) of Shuqualak, MS; sons, James Robert Oswalt (Yun) of Starkville, MS and James Robert Oswalt II (Emily) of Starkville, MS; sister, Paulette Crockett of Benton, ARK; brother, Arvie L. Oswalt (Pat) of Starkville, MS; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Mr. Oswalt is preceded in death by his parents Arvie T. Oswalt and Maudie L. Swindle Oswalt and brother, Johnny C. Oswalt.

Visitation for Mr. Oswalt is scheduled for Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville.  A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Adaton Baptist Church conducted by Rev. John Doler.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
