HOOVER, Ala. – Mississippi State was not ready to play another extra-inning game.
Wes Rea took care of that in the top of the ninth.
Rea singled to right field with the bases loaded bringing home the go ahead run and the No. 18 (Collegiate Baseball) Bulldogs outlasted the No. 15 South Carolina Gamecocks 5-3 Wednesday night in the Bulldog's 100th Southeastern Conference Tournament game.
