City starts spring street projects

May 23, 2013

By next week, residents of Starkville may find driving on some of the city’s streets to be a more pleasant experience.

Summer street paving has begun on sections of eight streets in Starkville, and City Engineer Edward Kemp said he anticipated the project to be completed by the end of the week. Portions of South Montgomery and Greensboro streets, Tiger Lily Lane, Lakes Boulevard, Henderson Road, Linden Circle and Highland Estates subdivision have been scheduled for improvements.
