The adage goes something like this: â€śFool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.â€ť
So, why is it that we often entirely disregard this tidbit of truth? It is, after all, an adage for a reason. Itâ€™s sound advice to consider. How many of us have been involved in the relationship that just wonâ€™t die, even when it should and itâ€™s well past time to call it quits? How many chances do we give the people in our lives who donâ€™t necessarily deserve them?
