Breaking up not really that hard to do

The adage goes something like this: “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.”

So, why is it that we often entirely disregard this tidbit of truth? It is, after all, an adage for a reason. It’s sound advice to consider. How many of us have been involved in the relationship that just won’t die, even when it should and it’s well past time to call it quits? How many chances do we give the people in our lives who don’t necessarily deserve them?
