It could have been a big inning for the Central Arkansas Bears Friday night.
Two runners stood on base with no outs, then the Mississippi State Bulldogs got a record double play.
The Bears attempted to progress both runners with a bunt, but MSU's Wes Rea sprinted in to field it subsequently throwing a strike to third where Adam Frazier was standing ready for the first out. In return, Frazier threw it across the diamond to Pirtle for out number two. It was the unconventional 3-6-4 double play, but its occurrence tied the school record from last year with 71.
