It looked like Mississippi State was going to lose its third straight game to Central Arkansas early on.
The No. 14 (Collegiate Baseball) Bulldogs erased all doubt in the sixth inning.
The No. 1 seed Bulldogs scored three runs in the sixth inning on their way to a 5-3 victory over the No. 4 seed Bears in the second game of Friday's Starkville Regional.
The Bulldogs (44-17) took the victory in front of 11,102 fans. It is the fifth best crowd for a postseason game at Dudy Noble Field and the 16th best overall.
