MSU baseball makes College World Series

June 10, 2013

For the ninth time in school history, the Mississippi State Bulldogs have secured a spot in NCAA baseball's College World Series in Omaha, Neb.
The Bulldogs held on for a 6-5 win over No. 6 national seed Virginia Monday afternoon at Davenport Field to win the Charlottesville Super Regional.
MSU won both games of the super regional and has made its first CWS since 2007. It will be the first visit for the Bulldogs at T.D. Ameritrade Stadium.
The action in Omaha for MSU will be Saturday or Sunday against either Kansas State or Oregon State.
