The ultimate goal of many college baseball programs is to be one of the last eight teams standing at the College World Series.
Mississippi State (48-18) is one of the eight participants at this year's College World Series. The No. 7 (Collegiate Baseball) Bulldogs are making their ninth appearance at the College World Series.
MSU has a rich history in college baseball postseason. Eight times before, the Bulldogs have come away from Omaha empty handed.
