Being on the road so much makes coming home even sweeter.
Nothing could be more true for Jeff Markham and his baseball team who are finally coming home to take part in the USSSA Mississippi State Championships 11-Under baseball tournament this weekend at the Starkville Sportsplex.
Included on the Knights roster are four players from Starkville along with a host of others from the surrounding area.
“It is a huge deal especially with a travel team because a lot of times out kids have to go to other venues and it means a lot to them to play in front of family and friends here in the Golden Triangle,” Markham said.
