Time to get back on the treadmill

It took me a good bit to see where the trend was going, largely because in the back of my mind I already knew it was true but wanted to cling to the last vestiges of denial as long as humanly possible. However, when I stepped into my favorite jeans only to realize the button was about 5 centimeters from an easy close, I could no longer deny what had, essentially, staring me in the face.

I’ve gained weight. And I’m not happy about that.
