Bashers out-slug Majors

The Mississippi Bashers closed out Class A pool play of the United States Speciality Sports Association 11-Under State Tournament with a come-from-behind victory.
After taking a 9-2 lead with six runs in the second inning, the Bashers saw the Majors rally for nine runs in the third inning to gain a 11-9 advantage.
The Bashers, made up of players from the Eupora, Louisville and Ackerman areas, continued to generate offensive of their own and scored three times in the third inning to win a 12-11 decision.
