One game where everything is on the line is all that is left.
That one game is the only thing standing between the Columbus Clippers and an United State Specialty Sports Association 11-year old AAA Mississippi State Championship.
“We are just real excited,” Clippers coach Patrick Hyde said. “We lost a game in pool play to put us in the losers’ bracket, but we fought back, so I’m really proud of our guys and we are in good position right now.”
To earn their spot in the championship game Columbus defeated the Red Sox 5-4.
