Rev. Willie E. Thomas Sr. of Starkville is a firm believer in the notion that everything happens for a reason. So when he picked up a copy of the Sun-Sentinel 10 years ago and read the story of then 100-year-old Magnolia Mitchell, Thomas knew it was divine intervention.
