Starkville Community Day begins Saturday

On March 18, 2008, Anita Lindsey’s worst nightmare became reality when her daughter, 22-year-old Quanesha Lindsey, was shot and killed in the street in front of her home on Pecan Acres. Since then, she’s been working to honor her daughter’s memory and restore a positive sense of community for residents of Starkville with a Community Day celebration.
