McDonald to coach girls' basketball at Eupora

August 5, 2013

McDonald

Basketball runs deep in the veins of Eupora’s new Lady Eagles coach.
From her grandfather, who is in the Georgia Athletic Coaches Hall of Fame, to her father, who is the current Grenada High School girls coach, Katie Ross McDonald has been around the sport nearly all her life.
“I have been around basketball since I was born,” McDonald said. “My dad coached me when I was in high school. I had the opportunity to go to Holmes Community College to play, but I ended up going to MSU instead. I know the ins and outs of the game and I am very confident in my knowledge and my up-line of who to call if I need something.”
