The East Webster Lady Wolverines haven't had long to enjoy their Class 2A State fast-pitch championship.
Not when they captured the title in May and three months later the Lady Wolverines have to get ready for the slow-pitch season.
It doesn't matter to East Webster softball coach Lee Berryhill, who keeps the same thinking whatever the season brings.
“I am like anyone else when you ask for our expectations,” Berryhill said. “We want to win. We want to get better each day, go into each game and give ourselves the best chance to win.”
