Leonard Harpole McMullin

Leonard Harpole McMullin, of Mathiston, was born January 18, 1955, in Anderson, IN, and died August 13, 2013, at University Memorial Medical Center, Jackson, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash. Leonard graduated from Anderson University and attended Ol’ Miss before entering a career in construction project management that led him to Hawaii and overseas. Leonard was working in Saudi Arabia as a project director for KEO International Consultants and was home to visit family. Leonard is survived by his wife, Cie, stepson Cody Monroe, son Evan, daughter Angela, and adopted daughter Annie Green. He is also survived by parents Ivy Harpole and Beverly McMullin of the Clarkson community, and brothers Lee, Ron, Don, and Arrel McMullin, their wives, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Maben United Methodist Church, 3999 Webster St., Sunday, August 18, at 3 p.m. Donations to Mobile Children’s Hospital ( USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital, 1700 Center St. Mobile, AL 36604) are requested in lieu of flowers.
