Baker, Johnson set to help Lions

SCOOBA – Starkville High School has produced some good college and junior college players over the past few years.
Gabe Myles is in his first season with the Mississippi State Bulldogs. while Quez Johnson was the starting quarterback for the East Mississippi Community College Lions last season.
This year EMCC head coach Buddy Stephens has two new Yellowjackets on his roster.
Freshman running back Preston Baker and freshman offensive lineman Jawon Johnson have already gained the respect of Stephens and his coaching staff.
