Lamar Raiders familiar with Starkville Academy

August 21, 2013

Familiar foes will face-off Friday as Starkville Academy travels to Lamar for the 2013 football season opener.
"The last couple of years Jeff (Terrill) and I have gotten together and setup scrimmages and jamborees so we have probably gone against them more than anybody the last two years," Raiders coach Mac Barnes said. "Those guys have done a really good job of getting people where they need to be. They compete. They are well coached and they play the right way."
