From metal head to ‘rock’ star

A phone call that will forever live in Plair family lore interrupted my lunch on Tuesday.

The director at the preschool my child attends called, and to her credit, calmly explained that my lovely, smart, perceptive and conscientious daughter had shoved a rock up her right nostril. My instructions: Come and get her. Then take her to the doctor.
