There is only one word Mississippi State defensive coordinator Geoff Collins can say when asked about facing an Oklahoma State offense.
That word is challenge.
The Bulldogs square off against the No. 13 (Associated Press) Cowboys this coming Saturday in Houston, Tex.
The Bulldog defense will not have a week to get their feet wet. Rather they will have to be prepared both mentally and physically for an uptempo offense like the Cowboys use.
"They have been top three in the country in offense for three-straight years," Collins said. "(They have) great skill players, great quarterback and great offensive line.
"It will be a great challenge. We're fired up for it. We couldn't ask for a better opener. Great team, great offense and great coaches. We'll see what happens."
