Eupora, French Camp similar in some areas

August 29, 2013

There won't be mirrors on each sideline in Eupora tonight.
When the Eupora Eagles and French Camp Panthers look across the field, it might appear that way.
The two teams that played for state championships last season have some similarities.
In the mind of Eupora head coach Junior Graham, it starts with the quarterbacks. The Eagles have junior Trey Pittman, while the Panthers have senior Jesse Hosket.
"Offensively, their quarterback has been playing for five years and our quarterback is starting his 23rd game as a junior so both teams have experience at that position," Graham said. "At the running back position, both of us are inexperienced. Defensively, they are filling some gaps on that side of the ball and we are filling some gaps on that side of the ball due to graduation so we're close to being mirror-images of each other as far as what we bring back from those championship runs last year."
