Town prepares to ‘Get Swept Up’

Starkville aims to roll out the red carpet to football fans planning to attend Mississippi State University’s home opener Sept. 7 versus Alcorn State.

This “red” carpet may more resemble a shade of maroon, but Greater Starkville Development Partnership Special Events and Projects Coordinator Jennifer Prather said making the best first impression of fall for visitors required a little sweat equity from the locals.
