MSU uses Labor Day practice to fix problems

September 2, 2013

Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen spent the majority of Monday afternoon's press conference talking about what went wrong against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
After a 21-3 loss in the season opener last Saturday, the Bulldogs went to work on Monday, trying to fix their mistakes.
MSU senior center Dillion Day said that the Labor Day practice was very business-like.
"The focus is totally different after a loss, so everyone was ready to get back in here," Day said after practice. "It wasn't much to take care of and we were working on it through all of practice (Monday)."
