North Alabama's Poe ready to tackle season

September 4, 2013

Gabe Poe

North Alabama coach Bobby Wallace said the biggest question he wanted answered from his team in tonight's season opener against Miles College at home was whether it could have success tackling the football or not.
If tackling is a key for the Lions, then linebacker Gabe Poe could be the man for the job.
The former player at West Oktibbeha has shown a nose for the football over the years and has joined the North Alabama squad this season.
"It's really a good place to be and a good football atmosphere," Poe said about North Alabama and the Florence area. "The town is great and the people are friendly. I love being a part of it."
