Iâ€™m a firm believer in keeping my trap shut when I donâ€™t know enough on a given subject mattr to discuss it. And while weâ€™ve been inundated with news on the Syrian conflict and recent atrocities related to chemical warfare, Iâ€™ve been very purposely mute, largely because thereâ€™s not much more I can contribute on the matter.
Still, I find the general â€ślet those people sort it out for themselvesâ€ť attitude conveyed by both congressional leaders and the public at large deeply unsettling on a number of levels.
