The Starkville Community Theatre kicks off its 37th season Thursday night with Neil Simon's classic comedy, "The Odd Couple."

Not only does the night mark the opening of another season, it also marks Heather Box's directorial debut. Box has worked with the SCT for eight years backstage and onstage, but decided to give directing a try. Box said she was looking forward to seeing the show from start to finish on Thursday.
