SSD hires Madison consultants

September 11, 2013

The Starkville School District Board approved a plan to hire consultants to help teachers prepare students for SATP testing at its regular monthly meeting Tuesday evening.

“This is one of two efforts that we’re starting at the high school to improve our high school scores,” said Starkville School District Assistant Superintendent Toriano Holloway. “This is a group that will come in and work with our teachers collaboratively on what they’re teaching, when they’re teaching and how they’re teaching it. They will also work with them to develop remediation plans for our students.”
