Southaven coach sees room for improvement

September 11, 2013

Ed Rich does not sound like a coach that has an undefeated football team after three games.
Despite being 3-0 at this point of the season, Rich said the Southaven Chargers have a long way to go and much improvement to make.
"We've still got a lot of mistakes we're making," Rich said. "The kids are playing hard, but there are still a lot of mistakes we need to correct. It's that type of thing when you are dealing with teenagers."
After opening the season with an easy 42-7 victory against Clarksdale, Southaven used a 28-yard field goal by Ryan Roberts to defeat Trezevant 17-14.
