AUBURN, Ala. – It seemed that Mississippi State was on its way to a victory.
The Auburn Tigers had their own thoughts of winning.
With just over 2 minutes remaining in the ballgame, the Tigers took it 88 yards for a touchdown as they knocked off the Bulldogs 24-20 at Jordan-Hare Stadium Saturday night.
"Very disappointing loss for us," MSU head coach Dan Mullen said. "Give Auburn credit. Their kids made plays to win the game."
Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall found C.J. Uxomah for an 11-yard passing touchdown with 10 seconds left in the ballgame to give the Tigers the lead for good.
