The Bolivar County Board of Supervisors and county administrator visited the Mississippi Horse Park Wednesday to learn how they could make their agricultural center thrive again.

“We’re looking at a long-term strategic plan for our agricultural center,” said Bolivar County Administrator Will Hooker. “It’s been evaluated to be very underutilized, from the perspective of (how it was used) back in its heyday. It’s making us do an evaluation of ourselves in terms of what we can do better so it can be a commodity to the community.”
