The cleaner side of life

September 26, 2013

As is often the case, I find my priorities have shifted somewhat as I’ve aged.

Let me be clear on one thing: I, for one, will never get old. It’s something I promised myself years ago, and thus far I’ve found I have been fairly successful. I used to say if I made it to 21 I’d live forever. I’m not certain how much water this holds, but the premise is fairly sound, in my opinion. I still find joy in getting out and playing in the dirt, engaging in games with my son and socializing with my friends and cohorts. I have no intention of completely closing myself off to the possibilities life puts before me, and no matter how the years pass, I refuse to let that ever be the case.
